A Dutch brand of pipes, Big Ben was purchased by the Gubbels family as a way to break into the international market. As far as name recognition went, they were clearly onto something, as Big Ben pipes are now arguably one of the better known pipe brands in the world today, offering their unique Scandinavian aesthetic to pipers the world over.
