Owned by American pipe maker Steve Norse, Vermont Freehand provides briar and supplies to carvers the world over. As a talented carver of artisanal pieces in his own right, Steve also designs a line of shapes made from Grade 1 Algerian briar and morta, all from hand-selected blocks, and fashioned in the United States.
