Leaning a bit further again into the Danish school of shaping he's been exploring more and more, Alexander Tupitsyn has chosen to forgo his usual Ilsted-like use of geometry and line, presenting instead a charmingly classical take on the bent Apple. With a plump, low waisted bowl and a mild taper to rim, the rounded shank and stem curve softly toward the rear, giving an almost gestural profile to the piece.

Finished in a warm, dark brown sandblast and accented perfectly by a shining band of sterling silver, Alexander has chosen to adorn this piece simply, focusing instead on its soft shaping and consistent sandblast.
