Wasp-waisted at the transition and delectably plump at the bowl and shank, this curvaceous composition from Peter Heding is a joy to both behold and caress. It also bears one of the finest examples of English cross-cut grain I've seen, with luscious swirls of birdseye across both cheeks and strands of flame grain racing across both the top and base.
