While Ryan's pipes seem by and large to be influenced by traditional English shaping cues, this little Billiard is noticeably more Danish-inspired in execution, with a plump bowl and soft taper that lends a pleasantly supple, Danish-styled curve to the cheeking around the transition. Despite the change in schools it takes inspiration from, it still fits well into Ryan's aesthetic of smaller shapes; bold, robust proportions; and a shapely, curvaceous sense of line.

Immaculately grained in a sandblasted English cross cut, blasted birdseye abound on its flanks, while lanes of cross grain are visible fore and aft, providing an abundance of crisp texture to enjoy in hand. The finish has been kept mostly natural, with honeyed-blonde tone paired to streaks of golden yellow on black for the brindled vulcanite stem.
