A perfect storm of Sam Adebayo's penchant for fusing the American Industrial style with more organic, Danish-inspired forms, and his love of bright, colourful accents and stems, this outsized Billiard from the Nashville-based carver is the archetypal Danish Billiard writ large. With a plump waist, extra thick shank, and chamber walls that are to any rogue embers what I imagine the walls of Candia were to the Ottomans, it's also amazingly light given its dimensions — with Sam's rugged sandblast taking no small amount of weight away from this hefty number.
