When you picture an Eltang design, the first shape that likely comes to mind is this: Tom's signature high-rimmed Poker. Simply put, it's both Tom's personal favorite and by far our best-selling Eltang design. Even such an iconic shape doesn't become ubiquitous overnight, however. It took Tom years of polishing and tweaking to get the lines and proportions what they are today. The extra height and cylindrical nature of the bowl, the subtle cant to the base, the smart shank breadth and length, they all took time and careful attention to perfect. And with this particular little number, you get all of that and the rarity of having it in a smooth finish, which is something we don't see all that often.
