As far as Danish shaping goes, they really don't come much more classic than the Apple. Plump at the base and with a graceful taper to the rim, the shape is a perfect example of the Danish school's tendency to combine inviting softness with strong, clean lines. For some reason though, it's not a shape we see all that often from Tom, who clearly has a handle on what makes the shape such a classic, if this particular piece is anything to go by.
