Former has self-identified as an enthusiastic fan of the Apple shape, smoking them often himself and returning to the design again and again in his portfolio. This is a somewhat stouter rendition than seen in his signature rusticated Apple, with a ponderous heel and a low visual centre of gravity, contributed to by an extra dark stain and jet-black stem. The curves of the flanks hint at a Tomato shape through the waistline located at the top of the transition, but it's only a subtle hint, and make no mistake, Former knows what he's doing. That almost subliminal implication serves to lower the centre of gravity further, resulting in a robust and impressive Apple.

Wearing a sandblast that displays concentric rings of sandblasted grain up and down the bowl, the rim has been not quite chamfered, but rather rounded and then angled inward toward the tobacco chamber, all while the slim and abbreviated saddle stem makes use of negative space balance the visual weight of the bowl.
