Simple, functional, and cheap as can be, corn cob pipes remain a popular choice for many smokers. Whether as a main means of enjoying a good blend, or as something inexpensive to keep around so you can try out new tobaccos with a virgin chamber, having a few cobs handy is a good idea that costs little.
