English Estates: Barling Fossil Bent Billiard (4639) (T.V.F.) (Early Transition)

Product Number: 004-151-0279

The Barlings, silversmiths in England during the latter part of the 1700’s, sensed an opportunity in the growing demand of pipes, and in 1812 Benjamin Barling started outfitting meerschaum bowls with exquisite silver mountings, founding B. Barling and Sons.

From that time until the late 1970s, Barling gained and maintained an enviable reputation for the excellent smoking characteristics of their pipes, as well as for their unique interpretation of classic shapes, and the development of some "new" classics.
