There's something about the Billiard that makes it the perfect gauge for the artisan that carved it. Even on a shape chart classic rendition like this, it's easy to see why Bill Shalosky's work is so heavily appreciated and sought after. Smooth and supple of line, the use of the lifting heel and plump cheeking around the transition evince the hallmarks of the Danish influence on the American Industrial Design school in which Bill is firmly rooted. Finished smooth in a warm contrast stain that shows off whorls of birdseye to both sides of the stummel, it's paired to a jet black stem inlayed with Fordite — an adornment that Bill has turned into his signature.
