Iafisco Pipes started with Davide's appreciation for classic, traditional shapes and the longstanding tradition of the craft, inspired along the way by the work of — and by the process of working with — many modern artisans, from Teddy Knudsen, Tom Eltang, Claudio Cavicchi here in Europe and Jeff Gracik and Adam Davidson across the Atlantic. In the thirteen years crafting under his own name, Iafisco's offerings have become infused with his own take on aesthetics from both Danish organicism and American industrial design, while still maintaining that clear love of shape chart classics.
