Max Rimensi of Il Duca has one of the most distinctive shaping styles of any Italian artisan, combining the sleek sensibilities of the Danish design school with a touch of the Italian neoclassical, all with mixed in with a good amount of his unique aesthetic.

This Billiard demonstrated that combination of Danish and Italian shaping cues, with a softly rounded, supple and ever-so-slightly tapered bowl poised at the end of a trim, subtly diminishing line of shank and stem — lending it a sleek, seamless and aerodynamic profile. The bowl dominates the focal point of this composition, with the pencil-thin shank and slender stem stretching out languidly for juxtaposing proportions — all finished in one of Max's gorgeous signature mustard-hued contrast-stains.
