A steep departure from his more Danish fancy Freehand designs, Erik Nørding's Compass series comprises a single, uncomplicated Poker design with a tall cylindrical bowl and straight aluminium stem. Available in either a straight briar stummel finished smooth, raw, or rusticated; with a wooden bowl wrapped in colourful aluminium; or finally as a taller "MacArthur" bowl with a demi-churchwarden stem and an additional regular length stem for on-the-go smokes.
