While previous years have seen the storied marque revive a singular shape from early catalogues and archives, Peterson’s 2024 Pipe of the Year introduces a brand new model to the portfolio — the first new System shape added to the catalogue since the B42 Darwin. Designed by Peterson’s pipe specialist Giacomo Penzo, this fully bent Rhodesian balances Peterson’s appreciation of tradition with modern engineering, combining Charles Peterson’s patented engineering — including the iconic P-Lip mouthpiece, sterling silver army mounts with wear-gaps, internal moisture reservoirs, and metal chimney-style tenon extensions — alongside the marque’s most premium finishes. Only 1,100 total pipes were made for this series, and each is presented alongside a custom pipe sleeve crafted from genuine Irish Donegal tweed.
