As far as Pots go, Radice tend to produce three main variants on the shape; a Billiardesque number with a shank and stem length generally inverse to the squatness of the bowl (i.e. the wider the bowl, the shorter the shank and stem); a bent shape that's a clear nod to the '55' and Luigi Radice's roots at the Castello factory; and a low slung, disc-like design with stout walls and a longer shank and stem.

This morta hewn piece, clearly in the latter camp, still manages to play with those archetypes, with a taller bowl than usually seen on this variant, and a taper that starts from the low-set transition itself, lending dynamism to what could have easily been a static composition.
