Named for Newcastle upon Tyne, the city that acted as England's northernmost fortress in the long waged border war with Scotland, Rattray's Newcastle line features a broad, muscular band that evokes the look of an army mount while still retaining a standard mortise-and-tenon arrangement. Paired to a jet-black acrylic stem drilled to accomodate a 9mm filter, the line is available in a neat black sandblast or smooth grey or terracotta finishes.
