Everything old becomes new again. Like our forebears, the current generation of pipes smokers seems to be rediscovering the simple elegance of the small, long-shanked Billiard that was ubiquitous in the mid 20th century. Lightweight and ideal for clenching, this piece from Scottie Piersel largely follows the conventions of the English classic, but of course offers a little extra length on the delightfully trim shank.
