Broad and squat, it's this sort of Tomato shape which really accentuates the slimness of Scottie Piersel's pencil-shanked pieces, contrasting a defined and high set waistline against a low set transition and attenuated shank and stem. It's not the only contrast to be found either, as Scottie playfully leaves a hint of plateau in an otherwise smooth finish, the dark walnut stain of which is set against a vibrant pink and purple stem, separated by a thin ring of creamy ivorite.
