Modern and minimalist in approach, yet still working in a bit of warmer and more natural color, Vauen's Olaf line features a flat black finish for the bowl and shank, a flat black acrylic stem, and a simple accent of lightly finished briar. The result certainly is a contrast, compared to the cool-toned, formal, glossy, flashy look of the typical ebony dress pipe.
