While usually known for his wild, eccentric designs and avant-garde aesthetic, Werner Mummert does seem to have a fondness for the occasional classic, as more often seen with his Billiards or long shanked variations thereof. Shaping wise, this Lovat is most definitely in that latter camp, with a forward canted bowl with a gradual taper toward the rim, terminating a little sooner than the norm for an near Pot-like appearance. Finished in an extra craggy sandblast that reveals concentric circlets of pronounced ring grain and a subtle contrast stain, it's complemented perfectly by a black Vulcanite stem inlaid with polymerised corn leaves.
